Mrs. Tefft’s 7th & 8th graders will have health in the classroom.

Mr. Chase’s 6th grade class will have P.E. today.

As the weather warms up please remember our dress code. According to our handbook, shorts, skirts, and dresses must reach a minimum of mid inner-thigh length or longer. Please use the “fingertip rule”, which means when your hands are relaxed and at your sides, the length of your shorts, skirts, and dresses must not be shorter than your fingertips. This includes holes and tears in your jeans. If the hole is above the level of your fingertips, you will be asked to change your clothes. Thank you for following the rules set out in our handbook.

We are having our food drive to help our local food bank! The food drive will continue through Friday, April 26. Help us help the high school in collecting any non-perishable food items to help benefit those in need. Donations will go to the St. Maries & UpRiver Food Banks. The grade level that collets the most food will win donuts for the entire grade and five extra minutes of lunch time.

Students please bring your food donations to the appropriate classrooms:

6th grade = Mrs. Shea

7th grade = Mrs. Huddleston

8th grade = Mrs. Schiermeister

Every Friday is sustained silent reading during advisory. Students: make sure to head go see Mrs. Willard in the library before Friday so you can come to class prepared with your library book.

Students, save your Jack Bucks to spend at the store on Friday morning!

TableTop Gamers activity will take place after school on Wednesdays from 2:45-3:30 in Mrs. Waisanen’s classroom. Permission forms need to be signed by your parents and turned in to Mrs. Waisanen in order to participate in this after school activity.

The Calder School is hosting a fun run May 4th. Informational flyers can be found in the middle school office. For questions and more information, please contact Megan Sindt at (208) 582-2691.

Track practice will be from 3:00-4:30 at the high school track.

Today’s lunch is Hawaiian croissant sandwich, sunchips, broccoli, fruit, and milk.

Happy birthday to Dawson Harpole today! Happy early birthday to Aspen Thompson!
